Eligibility for a student to get admission: A candidate opting Mathematics as Major subject in B.Sc. Program must have passed Mathematics as prerequisite subject at the qualifying examination.

Departmental Profile : The Department of Mathematics started functioning at the foundation of the College. The Department offers a 4-year degree course in Mathematics. As per the norms of the New Education Policy-2020 Major( with honours), Minor and Inter Disciplinary programs are there. The curriculum is comprised of both theory and practical. The department provides such an environment where students can improve their critical thinking ability and become a Mathematically competent person. Here we aim to nurture students for learning Mathematics and choosing a career based on Mathematics.

Career Opportunities : The courses offered here will train the students for careers in research, higher education, education and other government and privet sectors as data scientist, statistician, Economist etc.
