Departmental Profile : The Department of History is the one of the oldest departments that aims to graduate students with outstanding results. We work towards nurturing our students with discipline and abilities beyond academics. We believe to give value to education with life-skills so that our students could stand up to match every forum of the world. 

Career Prospects : With the inception of RCES in later part of 2020, History along with other subjects had been opted for both Major and Minor subject. The department had students from the very beginning and the first batch had gone out with very good results. Under NEP 2020, the department had a good number of students in IDC section and they are doing well. The department possesses a good number of books — both in the referral and text section. The carrier Prospects in the subject of History are Academicians, Researchers, Teachers & Professors, Heritage Managers, Genealogist, Policy Analyst, etc.
