Departmental profile : The department started its journey from 2023 and offers 4 years Bachelor Degree Course (B.Sc) according to NEP 2020. As per the norms the course has been compiled of Major, Minor and Interdisciplinary programs along with both theory and practical.

Career Prospects: Botany is a discipline that involves the scientific study of plants and also improves and preserves life for both plants and people. Careers for botanists exist in many areas and specialization such as agricultural research, Government sector, Biotechnology, academia and also running several scientific projects and research.
