RAJARSHI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION & SKILL

Rajarshi College of Education and Skills is an English Medium General Degree College affiliated by Tripura University (A Central University) and permitted by Government of Tripura. It is an endeavour of a few educationists under the umbrella of a non-profit making welfare Trust – Rajarshi Welfare Trust. The main objective of the College is to serve the students of North- East including Tripura and Students of India as a whole, though it welcomes the Students of any corner of the globe. Tripura is a hilly picturesque state in India, bordered 3 sides  North/East/South by Bangladesh and home to a Bengal and diverse mix of tribal culture and religious groups. In the Capital Agartala, the imposing Ujjayanta Palace is set among Mughal gardens and Gedu Mia’s Mosque has white marble domes and towers. Mata Tripureshwari Temple of Udaipur is world known and one of the 51 Shakti Piths. Neermahal summer Palace sits in the middle of Rudrasagar and blends Hindu and Islamic architectural styles. The air of the state waves in Dol, Durga utsav, Ker, Karchi and Garia. It’s birds sings with the rhythm of Dhamail, Hojagiri, Jhum, Maimita, Masak Sumani, Lebang Boomani, Bijhu and many more.The college is situated in Baghbari, Lembucheera only at a distance of 13 km from capital town Agartala. The mesmerizing road leading to the college runs through green herbs and shrubs and ends its journey at the initial point of beautiful tea estate. The riotous green environment of the college, full of gentle air rich in oxygen lured to take chest full breath.Offering quality education in non-crowded environment is the prime motto of the college and offering skill courses are its uniqueness. Individual students counselling in every fortnight and stress free education perfectly blended with the National Educational Policy-2020 is the greatest strength of this seat of higher learning. ICT enable class rooms and transparency are the added beauty which shall pave the students to pursue their higher educational journey in smooth and cosy habitat and shall feel home out of home. Add on skill courses with industrial training in real floor shall help them to decide their dazzling future.

In 2020, Deeded covid pandemic dislodged the whole world including RCES. We come out from this unpredented incident successful in 2022. From the same year, to make our each and every student skilled, the college took a major drive. Our first success came in the same year 2022 through our mushroom cultivation, which was not a thrilling success of the students but confidence level of the college boosted. In next year 2023 we procured 30 numbers of pedal sewing machine with a professional master trainer & trained good number of villagers. Most of them were housewife and young girls. Many of them earning well, after discharging duties for the family. Same year we took a another skill in the college namely, Agricultural value added product.

In 2023, our first batch of students successfully completed their degree course  with good result. Lowest and highest CGPA was 6.5 and 8.7.

    In 2024, our two students awarded Gold medal in the university, students were Arnamita Roy & Arup Rudra Paul respectively in Physics and Chemistry. Arnamita doing well in entrance test of St. Xavier Kolkata started her next journey for M.Sc Physics in 2024, our student Plongsmaiti Reang was winner of Tripura idol, the other tough competitions in 2025. It was a glorious moment for Plongsmaiti as well as college.

   In 2025 most of our student were sent to MSME tool room, R.K Nagar, Agartala, to take the training on Computer Aided Designing, Computer Hardware and  IOT.

Subsequentty our college took bold initiative to open up skill subjects in many areas, like Artificial Intelegentia, Computer Aided Designing, Computer Hardware,Graphic Designing, Electronics, Value Added Product, Tailoring and Cloth Arts, Mashroom Cultivation etc.
