- Profile Of The Department
The Department of Mathematics started functioning at the foundation of the College. The Department offers a 4-year degree course in Mathematics. As per the norms of the New Education Policy-2020 Major( with honours), Minor and Inter Disciplinary programs are there. The curriculum is comprised of both theory and practical. The department provides such an environment where students can improve their critical thinking ability and become a Mathematically competent person. Here we aim to nurture students for learning Mathematics and choosing a career based on Mathematics.

A candidate opting Mathematics as Major subject in B.Sc. Program must have passed Mathematics as prerequisite subject at the qualifying examination.

The Department of Kokborok is committed to promoting the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Tripura through the study and preservation of the Kokborok language. The department plays a vital role in shaping socially responsible individuals by instilling a deep understanding of their language, literature, and traditions. The college offers a Bachelor of Arts in Kokborok Major and Minor as per NEP 2020. This course provides an in-depth exploration of the Kokborok language, literature, and culture, along with practical training in linguistics and creative expression. Students study traditional and contemporary Kokborok literary works, gaining insights into the language’s evolution and cultural significance.
